A vacancy has arisen within our team at Drax Power Station for a Maintenance Coordinator to support our operations.
Hargreaves Industrial Services provide a varied Operations and Maintenance service to our client at Drax Power Station. We handle, maintain and reclaim materials including FBA, Coal and Mitigant Slurry whilst managing material stocks and transportation using a wide range of Mobile Plant.
The role briefly encompasses the following:
- Co-ordinate PPM and RCM as per site schedules
- Co-ordinate and plan defect repairs on all mechanical and electrical equipment in the service delivery scope
- Attending, diagnosing, and agreeing repair processes for plant breakdowns
- Carrying out site operational and Maintenance tasks in accordance with training, site procedures and supervisor instructions
- Completing all necessary documents, reports and records
- Working with the operational department to effectively carry out maintenance work
- Providing an efficient and professional support service to the operational plant requirements
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvements and innovations
- Harmonisation with other HIS teams and clients
- Providing full flexibility to carry out required operational duties
- Collating, collaborating, and communicating the annual maintenance plan to all stakeholders (HIS and client)
- Understanding PLC control systems including inputs/outputs and the field-based transducers they are connected to
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/ attributes:
- Good communication skills, both with colleagues, other contractors and clients
- SHEQ requirement
- Safety Rules PFW acceptor trained
- Risk assessment training
- Manual handling training
- COSHH awareness training
- CPCS safety passport or equivalent
- Maintenance qualification (City & Guilds part 3/ NVQ level 2/3 in joint discipline)
- Sound knowledge of MAXIMO or similar Maintenance Management System
Due to the health and safety risks associated with this working environment, all individuals must comply with face fitted dust mask rules. In order to do so individuals must be clean shaven at all times when on site.
