An opportunity to lead and deliver vital infrastructure projects.
S&B Utilities is searching for a highly skilled EICA Project Engineer to drive water infrastructure projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop electrical and instrumentation designs for water & wastewater plants.
- Prepare and review electrical schematics, instrument loop diagrams, and control system documentation.
- Conduct MEICA surveys, covering LV electrical distribution, MCCs, PLCs, HMI, SCADA, telemetry, and communication networks.
- Supervise MEICA construction works, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Carry out electrical testing and commissioning, validating systems for peak performance.
- Ensure compliance with BS7671 standards, completing electrical installation certificates.
- Lead end-to-end telemetry testing and FATs/SATs for smooth integration
Candidate Requirements
- Qualifications: HNC/D in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Apprenticeship in Engineering.
- Industry Certifications: City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing), 2382-22 (18th Edition Wiring Regs), CSCS/ECS Gold Craft Card, SMSTS (valid until 2029), EUSR National Water Hygiene.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in cable calculations (Amtech/Trimble), P&IDs, electrical design documentation, and commissioning plans.
- Hands-on Experience: NICEIC Qualified Supervisor experience, plus expertise in electrical installations & testing.
- Desirable Skills: First Aid at Work, Yorkshire Water ICA Authorised Person (AP), Compex Qualification
